Skills required -:

- Strong understanding about various commercial clauses and terms in contract.

- Should be familiar with RFP/ Tendering process and e sourcing activity.

- Must have 9-12 years of experience in purchasing activity with 5-6 years of relevant experience in Travel & Marketing profiles (with infrastructure development would be more preferable).

- Must be familiar with procurement of indirect categories, miscellaneous Purchases and Contracts Management. Should have thorough knowledge of the sourcing and should have strong negotiation skills.

- Should have experience / exposure on SAP or any other ERP package

- Preference will be given to candidates from BPO (third party) / telecommunication companies.

- Should have strong skills in database management. Should also have a flair to accomplish challenging assignments

Qualification - Person will be responsible for :

- MIS and System based documentation of transactions

- Technical and commercial validation of the products and services.

- Contract negotiation & management, Supplier rating.

- Attaining economies in the procurement by spurring competition among vendors

- Selection and evaluation of Vendors so as to broaden vendor base.

- Liaising and interfacing with other departments and with UHG global purchase team to synergize the efforts.

- Should be able to work in a team and will be responsible for target completion.
