- The role involves some project management, some requirements gathering, and a whole lot of data analysis and working with clinical data from a variety of different sources.
- The candidate will work with customers, developers, clinical informatics specialists and DBAs to build databases from a number of different source systems.
Primary job responsibilities include :
- Must have a strong understanding of IT processes, SDLC, planning, and utilization and must be able to operate in a high-paced environment, influence and drive change and advocate for both customer and IT interests.
- Must be self-directed and creative when dealing with complex issues.
- Includes influencing multiple internal operations to define cohesive requirements and implement process standardization where appropriate to reduce technology development needs.
- Project management of peers, internal customers, virtual teams, and technical partners to implement solutions.
- Communication of project status and risk escalation.
- Proven systems analyst or developer experience with relational databases, reporting platforms, and desktop/web applications.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to convey complex thoughts clearly and concisely through written and verbal communication.
- Ability to translate customer needs into clearly defined requirements (business/technical).
- Demonstrated leadership of process and technical implementations that consistently meet targets.
- Capable of leading multiple deliverables and prioritizes work accordingly; tolerance for rapid change

Primary Requirement and Desired Skill Set :

- Excellent Visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills in order to meet multiple deadlines; comfortable working in a high-paced/high production area
- Desire and ability to learn new skills, systems and processes
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
- Strong Communication skills, both written & oral, required
- Business Process and Systems Analysis experience required
- Technical Project Management experience required
- Advanced user of MS Visio required (Data models, process flows, application design, technical diagrams)
- Advanced user of Excel required (Pivot tables, charts, graphs, macros)
- Advanced user of PowerPoint required (Executive summaries and project overviews)
- General knowledge of MS Access required (Database creation and management, report & form development)
- Work with developers to translate requirements in to functional and technical design documents and follow established Waterfall/Agile SDLC processes for testing and implementation.
- Investigate and responds to routine or standard requests
- Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Focus On solutions, dive into projects, quickly identify drivers in the data
- Experience writing and assessing business requirements documents
Qualifications :
- Graduate / PG degree or relevant equivalent experience
- Total 8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis and technical project management.
- 2+ years of data analysis experience
Utilization :
- Work with business partners to manage their quality programs with in the QI & JAQ tools.
- Work with business partners to help identify and solidify their audit process and business needs for functional enhancements
- Transform the business needs into a model that will conform to the quality tool being used utilizing process and system documentation such as requirements, workflows, data layouts, and test plans.
- Assist with program build and test within the tool
- Assist with system testing and UAT coordination for function enhancements.
- Become primary point of contact for the quality program, supporting questions, training, issue resolution, maintenance updates as needed
- Act as a subject matter expert within multiple functional areas and/or platforms.
