Job Description :
- Your efforts will be focused within Healthcare business Operations area of Optum supporting internal analysis needs across all programs. Services are delivered telephonically, in-person and through digital and mail modalities.
- Your analysis will help drive business decisions based on client, product or process findings.
- This is a partner facing role meaning you will be working directly with the operational VP and Associate Directors as well as the Product Director.
- This role is intended to support massive growth within an innovative in-person approach to health services. You will help operations understand how their program is running as well as how individual agents are performing. You will be expected to perform routine and ad-hoc deep dive analyses to uncover insights critical to success.
- This role will primarily support operations but will also work with product and client-facing teams. Develop operational reporting and analytical tools that will allow stakeholders to more effectively run their business units.
- Manage and publish key reports and dashboards to be used by leadership. Highlight findings/insights within reporting to leaders in order to facilitate action. Use your analytical insights and experience working with data to identify new ways of looking at/presenting data
- Ideally, the individual who fills this leadership role will become the go-to person for their program support area.
Primary job responsibilities include :
- To understand existing health care process and find insights using Data analytics tools.
- Understand the current process and provide efficient enhancements.
- Read, research, trend, forecast, benchmark, and understand data and insights
- Manage ongoing relationship with operational and product suite partners as point representative for operational metrics, program life-cycle, and overall program status
- Communicate and monitor key success metrics
- Research available data to identify opportunities to improve operational excellence and work with process owners to mobilize actions and resources to address identified gaps
- Drive process improvement striving for consistency, timeliness, accuracy and effectiveness
- Deliver formal program updates to leadership which includes creation of reporting dashboards for routine business reviews which you will conduct
- Will be involved in the creation of RFPs/business proposals with various components of it and project documentation as and when required
- Identifying different possible solution in healthcare analytics space, able to package it as end to end solution which can further be offered to forthcoming client as part of pre-sales delivery

Required Qualification :
- Bachelor degree preferable in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field
- 6 to 8 years of experience in business/finance/operations analysis.
- Excellent communication, relationship development, memory, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required.
- Working experience in data analytics tool like R/Python
- Experience working with Data visualization tools like Tableau
- Exposure to Big Data for data analysis/analytics
- Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and SQL
- Ability to interact effectively with partners at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to business partners in writing and verbally
- Experience working within a U.S based matrix organization
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
