Job Description - Job Summary :
The HR Operations Lead (Offshore-IND) is responsible for providing strategic consulting and support to Human Capital as it relates to HR Operations for US employees.This position acts as an expert for functional HR operations to ensure smooth payroll processing and handling of Data Corrections and Time & Labor transactions from customers.
The HR Operations Lead will manage the HR Operations team and will interact with other Human Capital Centers of Excellence (COE) throughout the day-to-day functions of the job, maintaining and promoting key internal and external relationships for the US population.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partner in transition & stabilization of process from US to India
- Implement new process or changes to existing HR business processes and work rules
- Act as a functional SME for U.S. HR operations processes
- Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of HR data entry, HRMS updates, and HRHD case resolution.
- Monitor processes to assess the quality of HR data.
- Research and identify root causes for problems and own the resolution
- Identify ongoing process improvement opportunities and demonstrate improvement of defined processes in consultation with stakeholders
- Manage India HR Operations team, workload, development, and assessment
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees
- Collaborate with U.S. Payroll, Total Rewards & Compensation and HR COE in the support of HR business initiatives
- Maintain effective relationships with key internal and external customers and vendors
- Data entry and correction of data in Global Self Service PeopleSoft environment.
- Ensure accuracy in Time and Labor processes as well as accuracy in data entry in PeopleSoft processes across the organization.
- Develop communications to inform and update employees on a variety of data entry, corrections, and time and labor topics.
- Research and resolve complex issues while working directly with affected employees and contractors.
- Partner with 3rd Party vendors to analyze and assist with leave of absence and unemployment related inquires.
- Assist in developing standardized tools, templates, and processes across the HR Operations team.

Qualification - Qualifications :
Education : BA or BS, CPP desired. Graduate or Post Graduate
Work Experience : 7+ years of previous experience in similar Human Capital role (HR/Payroll Operations Specialist).
- 5-7 years of experience with US business with good understanding of U.S.A. policies and regulations.
- PeopleSoft experience, including Correct History/Correction experience.
Work Requirements : Shift to be coordinated with U.S.A. and India management.
- All work requires knowledge of U.S.A. company policies and U.S.A. regulations.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements :
- Previous process transition experience from one geography to another (internal or external clients)
- Previous management experience
- Currently managing an offshore process (desired)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or LEAN certified (desired)
- Experience managing 2-3 people as people manager and responsible for engagement & development
- Ability to research and analyze data and recognize specific opportunities for improvement.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tools (HelpDesk, PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Time and Labor, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.); ability to learn new systems/applications. - Attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of the Human Capital process preferred.
- Understand other HC department roles and be able to partner with them in resolving issues.
- Ability to understand downstream effects of correcting history and employee records.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
- Personal accountability of tasks due and issues resolved.
