Job Description:
Plan and manage analytics projects that support business goals by:
- Developing predictive models around consumer attributes that will identify members who are more likely to enroll in Optum programs
- Developing segmentation approaches that provide insights to the business on different consumer profiles by program type, thus allowing for customized communication and outreach to each segment
- Do the Text Mining to get the insights.
- Leveraging data to produce insights and information to be used for consumption by senior leadership and product groups
- Providing mentoring to team members and developing overall team skill set within an analytics/problem-solving context
Deliver Analytics Projects:
- Manipulate large data sets and understand complex variables which impact member behavior
- Understand business requirements and key metrics
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to implement segmentation approaches within campaign communication and design strategy
- Produce clear presentations of complex data metrics

Qualification :
Required Skill set:
- Bachelor's degree in business management; marketing, finance, economics.
- Master's degree preferred
- Prior business analytics experience required; 5-7 years
- Expert in SAS and/or SPSS Modeler / Predictive Customer Intelligence.
- A background in the healthcare industry or in related industries which have a high degree of operating complexity is preferred
