Job Description - Position Overview :

As an individual contributor, positions in this function work in the analysis phase of the system development cycle and consult with users to evaluate business requirements, identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. The person should have good exposure of Finance domain & IT Domain.

The person will be exposed to various analytical initiatives being taken up by the customer based on their business need. The individual will be responsible for his/ her projects to be kept fully documented (objective, requirements, analysis plan, technical design, result, support etc.) and communication of results in a timely and effective manner.

Job Responsibilities :

- As part of the seeding team, the individual should be comfortable working- across cross-functional teams, in building POCs / Pilots and reusable modules for the use of rest of the organization

- To participate along with his/ her manager in building CBA and business cases for new initiatives for cross functional initiatives across the organization

- The person should have prior experience in Finance domain.

- Support accurate reporting of chargebacks through chargeback cycles each month. Develop, implement, and support processes for validating volumes and costs as well as reporting on variations. Helps service teams in appropriate collection of supporting metadata related to chargebacks such as application names and sourcing data.

- Work closely with his/ her manager and internal/external clients to understand the business problem and contribute towards approach design

- Works with business customers and service teams on questions related to the costs and volumes.

- This role manages the data collection process for all infrastructure chargebacks for each monthly chargeback cycle. The role also helps manage the various tasks related to validation of the collection activities including service team contacts, ensuring signoff of data accuracy, and analyzing variances and swings.

- Ensure smooth delivery of analytics projects undertaken and responsible for project communications

- Additional duties include adhoc requests to generate chargeback data, support of various reports, and special services analysis, as well as communication to chargeback stakeholders and management of the team SharePoint

- Good Exposure on Predictive Analytics Linear Regression, Logistic Regression etc.

- Preparation of project plans starting from defining business problem/scope to delivery approach- and present findings to stakeholders in a prompt and effective manner

- With assistance from his/ her manager, the individual should be able to arrive at a desired approach to a business problem, able to delineate tasks, manage his/ her time efficiently & present the findings with utmost clarity

Qualification - Desired Profile :

- 5+ years of experience in executing advanced analytical projects as individual contributor and/ or as a team member

- Advanced degree (MS or BTech) in a quantitative field (ie. Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics etc.) from Top-tier institute

- Should have a minimum of 4+ yrs of working knowledge in R / SQL- data analysis, Predictive modelling & report-outs..

- Excellent in Excel, Macros(VBA), MS Access,

- Statistical tool: R,

- Database: SQL

- Strong exposure to MS Xcel, MS Power Point & an analytical bent to slice-dice business data-

- Good communication skills (both oral & written) in order to participate in project discussions internally within the team & with end customers

- Ability to make need-based travel specific to projects in short notice (including internationally)
