Job Description :
- The project manager is responsible for leading a project from its inception to execution. This includes planning, execution and managing the people, resources and scope of the project.
- Project managers must have the discipline to create clear and attainable objectives and and to see them through to successful completion.
- The project lead has full responsibility and authority to complete the assigned project.
- A project manager's position may end with the completion of the assigned project, or it may be a semi-permanent position for a limited time or until a predetermined point in the projects schedule or stage of completion.
Scope :
- Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements.
- Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
- Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
- Works with minimal guidance, seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.
- Translates concepts into practice.
- Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.
- Experience using Agile SCRUM
Job Responsibilities :
Project Leadership :
- Leads and directs high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration and iteration with internal teams- Presents project status and issues to stakeholders through formal presentations
- Conducts regular meetings with project teams to review the current status of the project including technical, schedule, and labor issues Project Management
- Is responsible with managing projects from the Initiation phase of the SDLC through the Release phase of the Optum Insight SDLC.
- Ensures that the SDLC process is followed with reaching successful SDLC Compliance for each phase.
- Responsible for assigning resource responsibilities and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Manages the scope, risks, issues, deliverables, and schedule of individual project tasks.
- Attends committee meetings and provides project status updates
- Monitors team dynamic and team accountability related to delivery commitments
- Assigning project tasks and coordinate resources, including the review of escalating such issues as needed.
- Manages and ensures the TE Dashboard is kept up to date on a weekly basis
- Establishing and enforcing the use of the projects Change Control Process
- Establishing and enforcing the use of the project Communication Plan
- Responsible for tracking, resolving and escalating project Issues and Risks
- Participates in the PMO with revising and creating new policies and procedures
- Creates, maintains and is accountable for labor identified within Planview for the project

Qualification :
Education and Job Qualifications :
B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M. Sc (full time only) with 8 - 10 years of experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
- Analyzes and investigates
- Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.
- Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.
- Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.
- Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area.
- Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines.
- Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.
Additional Information :
- Previous experience with Agile/SCRUM- Certified or actively pursuing PMP Certification. Should have certification in Agile (CSM/PSM)
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
