- As a part of the Optum Client Learning team, you will develop a variety of learning tools, from micro-learning courses to MOOCs, social learning communities to mobile learning resources. We are looking for someone with a strong background in online communications who can help us maintain and improve the quality of our written content. You also play a key role in developing communications and resources for Optum clients and the teams we work with.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Instructional Designer would script a course; before sent to internal clients to be reviewed, this profile would need to review scripts for eLearning and check for formats, writing standards, reviewer
- Perform reviews and final edits of eLearning courses and related materials
- Perform quality control and quality assurance checks
- Write, edit, and prepare client communications (marketing materials, email templates, info sheets, job aids, and other resources)
Additional Responsibilities :
- Assist in conducting user testing
- Collaborate with instructional designers and LMS administrators to ensure that eLearning projects are meeting quality standards
- Assist in creating, editing, and maintaining department and project style guides
- Write, edit, and prepare internal resources and documentation Content for Learning communities on LearnSource,

Qualification :
- 2+ years of experience editing online media
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially the track changes feature in Word
- Strong command of American English, including usage and grammar
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Assets :
- Thorough proofreading skills - Attention to detail
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) or learning management systems (LMS)
- Experience with social media tools in a business setting
- Familiarity with healthcare or medical coding terminology
- Comfortable learning new software, including authoring tools and project management software
- Knowledge of HTML, and CSS
