Job Description :
- The Instructional Designer will embrace this exciting opportunity to lead change to the way in which we promote learning. He or she will help define new standards and strategies to promote learning using current technologies to increase a self-paced environment.
- The ID will consult with training and business partners on the design, development, execution and measurement of learning programs to support our internal operations business partners. The ID will be responsible for designing interactive instructor-led and online learning programs while ensuring high-quality, innovative and effective learning programs.
- The ID keeps abreast of various design strategies, with emphasis in Online Learning, both synchronous and asynchronous.
Job Responsibilities :
- Applies a systems approach to curriculum design, re-design and development.
- Participates in the planning, development, and evaluation of learning programs from new hire training materials supporting ongoing learning and professional - development of our operations, learner audiences.
- Defines learning objectives.
- Leads and develops high quality programs.
- Promotes engagement across teams and for individuals.
- Leads the creation or conversion of existing curriculum into an online learning format.
- Builds strategic roadmap for larger scale projects and forecasting on design capabilities.
- Responsible for design intake and demand prioritization (estimating and scheduling of project management and design resource pool).
- Identifies, analyzes, and fixes language and design related defects.
- Understands writing standards and coaches the team to implement the standards.

Qualification/Required Skill Set :
- Bachelor degree or higher in applicable field of instructional design and technology preferred. Equivalent bachelor degree combined with work experience will be considered.
- Proven experience with designing and developing online learning solutions, both synchronous and asynchronous.
- 1-2 or more years designing and developing learning programs.
- Knowledge of current trends and technology to support online learning including tools such as Captivate, Articulate, Storyline and others.
- Prefer experience with incorporating multiple media elements in to learning programs including audio, video, animation, simulation, and self-developed graphics.
Additional Skills :
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and fact-based decision making abilities. Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word and PowerPoint. Intermediate skills with MS Excel and Visio.
- Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.
- Works with less structured, more complex issues.
- Serves as a resource to others.

- Familiarity with health care or operations, specifically in call center and processing.
- Results-oriented individual with strong influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills.
