Job Description :

- As part of UniteHealth Group, you will predominantly be involved in architecting and designing data warehouse solutions.

- You will be a primary contributor in developing, testing and deploying key data warehouses, data marts and will be working with cutting edge technology.

- He will be responsible to manage a team of architects/developers in addition to provide technical solutions in data warehousing projects.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Manage a team of ETL developers and leads working on multiple data warehouse applications

- Work with onshore resource managers to ensure team is utilized in projects

- Report project status to peers, offshore management, and onshore counterparts.

- Organize peer reviews for designs, code, and other work products.- Enforce quality standards including: code conventions, unit testing, static analysis, revision control.

- Recommend product, process, and tooling improvements.

- Manage staff training plans and mentor direct reports for career development.

- Conduct annual employee reviews for direct reports.

- Recruit and interview new employees. Recommendations for data warehouse mart design

- Develop architectural approach to meet key business objectives

- Develop architectural diagrams to illustrate architectural complexities and interactions.

- Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate application and data architectures

Qualification :

Required Qualifications :

- B. Tech/M.Tech /MCA/M.Sc with 10 - 14 years relevant exeperience

- Minimum of 10 years systems development and implementation experience on Data Warehousing projects

- Minimum of 4 years experience in system architecture area

- Minimum of 2 years managing a technical team

- Previous experience with high-scale or distributed RDBMS

- Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science

Principles : object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, debugging, and configuration management.- Strong technical and platform knowledge, including some or all of : ETL tool Datastage, Databases (DB2/Oracle/Teradata), UNIX platform (Shell/Perl scripting), Scheduling tools (TWS/Autosys/ControlM). Formal training and/or certification in any of those tools and technologies a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in a technical or business field a plus.

- Healthcare domain knowledge

- Flexible to accommodate different time zone across globe

- Excellent design and problem solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and VISIO
