Job Description for the role of DIRECTOR - PROJECTS

Educational background : MBA/M. Tech from a premier institute

Work Experience : Total work experience : minimum 15 years work experience of which 8+ years of IT Application/System Integration Project/Program Management experience. Experience on at least one system integration project in leadership role in domestic government market in leading a complex IT project/program involving implementation across multiple field locations.

- Should have managed at least 1 full lifecycle program and/or multiple IT turnkey projects simultaneously - among them, at least 1 engagement worth 10 MN USD or above

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Provide strategic directions and leadership to various projects running across different geographical segments in the country.

- Strategically own the projects and should be able to convince various stakeholders both internal and external to steer the project on-time and within budget

- Create a team oriented work climate that enables professional development and encourages creative solutions and strategies, establishes collaboration and emphasizes quality and cost effectiveness.

- Effectively maintain and build relationships across various business groups/functions such as presales solutioning, global service delivery, PMO etc.

- Managing a team of diverse skills including team building, grooming, succession and career development planning. Budget tracking and improvement plans across projects

- Proficiency in the identification and use of Risk Management practices for projects and your functions. Must be able to forecast and create delivery/skills plans ahead of the upcoming projects in the country.

- Must be a proven task-master and be able to build a strong relationship with OEMs and field partners for effective delivery of the projects
