Job Description - Job Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the Indian and US health care industry
- Study and stay abreast of current and emerging market and industry trends
- Create high quality research & analysis reports for specific markets and services to guide service positioning and messaging, and corporate planning activities
- Work closely with product and solutions teams to understand Optum's markets and products
- Conduct competitor intelligence studies and create insight reports for stakeholders to suggest opportunities for improvement and new strategic directions
- Collate and analyze information from variety of sources including subscribed databases, published reports, company websites and news

Qualification - Required Skills :
- Sound knowledge of Indian and US healthcare industry
- Strong analytical skill. Should be able to analyze the data in a meaningful way
- Ability to develop fact based recommendations which can be backed up
- Ability to articulate findings in a clear manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in secondary research and familiarity with databases
- Out of the box thinking and presentation skills
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's degree from reputed college/university. Master's degree preferred
- 2+ years work experience at a leading consulting firm (e.g. international consulting firm, Big 4, global investment bank, leading research house) in the healthcare sector
- Experience working with international clients/ stakeholders
- Experience in conducting competitor analysis, vendor analysis, market potential study and preparing media articles, industry landscapes reports, newsletters, and company analysis
