- Translate high-level business requirements into functional and system requirements

- Draft test cases from system requirements

- Prototype user interface designs

- Develop user documentation

- Perform manual system testing, based on documented test cases

- Use SQL to verify system tests on the backend, create ad-hoc reports

- Document business processes

- Expertise with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

- Knowledge of agile project tracking tools such as Rally desired

- Comprehensive knowledge of client-server, object-oriented, and web-based systems, applications, environments and relevant tools/technology

- Working knowledge of SQL

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and within a team with excellent time management and reporting skills

- Ability to identify and evaluate several alternative solutions and help the team arrive at the best functional requirement set to meet the business need
