- Forecasting and setting the team direction, resolving problems and providing guidance to members of your team to address business and operational challenges.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with internal and external business partners to gain understanding of their business needs and adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges

Lead and Develop People :

- Manage professional employees by setting team direction, resolving problems and providing guidance to members of your team

- Leverage diversity and inclusion to drive employee engagement and foster teamwork and collaboration. Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior by complying with applicable laws, regulations and policies and requiring the same from others

- Manage and ensure compliance with IT structures/processes/technologies

- Maintain knowledge of and leverage IT industry/marketplace technologies and trends

- Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning activities

Total work experience :

- 14 -16 years IT Project/Program Management experience (Agile scrum/ kanban implementation will be added advantage)

- Should have managed full life-cycle IT projects

- Must be ready to demonstrate flexibility in the working hours, especially during times like release, war room scenarios, important business stakeholder meetings

- Assertive Leadership skills displayed while dealing with very senior stakeholders from IT and Business; Exceptional oral and communication skills - a MUST

- Must be a proven task-master, and expert in Stakeholder management; demonstrated experience dealing with bringing together multiple teams across Apps, across cross-shore teams like in Offshore & Onshore, and diverse stakeholder groups in IT & Business, and leading them through

- Proficiency of IT Project Management Life-cycle, Software Development Life-cycle processes and methodologies, with specific knowledge of topics around cost, schedule and quality

Management Skill-Set:

- Healthcare Domain knowledge, with practical knowledge around solution capability for Healthcare industry

- Multi Channel Contact Center Delivery Exp.

- Agile project experience (playing champion, or Scrum Master or Agile Coach roles) is advantageous, though not essential

- PMP or PgMP or PRINCE2 or any similar industry standard certified PM professional

- In-depth application knowledge, in the area of Application/Healthcare domain

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree or higher level of education or equivalent

Work experience :

- 5 + years of application development (or support) experience in a large enterprise environment

- 2 + years of experience leading teams and/or managing workloads for team members

- Prior experiences leading distributed teams- Ability and willingness to hold on-call responsibilities to respond to system issues 24x7x365

- Prior experience leading development and/or support for large, critical applications (preferably on multiple platforms)

Preferred Qualifications : -

Previous experience managing a remote team of resources including offshore team members
