Preferred :
- Field-of-Expertise Experience creating interoperable SOA systems, not isolated products or solutions. Must be passionate about reuse, common models & industry patterns for assembling a system.
- Experience in semantic technologies like coding, ontologies and taxonomies. Experience in knowledge based tech like fuzzy algorithms, policy based systems, etc.
- Experience in event-driven technologies for messaging, enterprise architecture integration patterns using ESB as integration medium, workflow (human & system) for managing long-running transactions.
- Cloud-based SaaS architectures - involves designing elastic solutions, distributed state, availability and scalability, etc.
- Modern persistence technologies for indexing, caching, search and analysis Has proven record of successfully motivating & directing a software development team.
- Good technical infrastructure performance modeling and benchmarking skills

Qualification :
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Present technical and business architectural solution to clients Lead technical architecture and design process during customer engagements Capability to execute in the context of 3rd party technology/architectures including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Enterprise Data Warehouses, Enterprise Imaging systems, Clinical Messaging systems and /or Patient Engagement systems etc..
- Partner closely with the Solution Engineering Team for successful architectural engagement Mentor field technical roles on Healthcare solutions, platforms & customer requirements & considerations Demonstrate thought leadership through publication, presentations, white papers and event participation
- Develop strong partner relationships to accelerate customer engagements and expand the OGS solution offerings Qualifications
Education :
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Information Technology or related field 8-10 years of architecture experience in the healthcare industry and 15-20 years IT experience in developing large-scale, distributed, semantically interoperable systems.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture modeling techniques to create the right-sized specification to which development teams design and implement. Product Development experience in a dynamic and Agile Healthcare environment.
- Healthcare IT experience that drives a better understanding of the stakeholders and customers benefiting from the solution.
- Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures as well as in design and architecture of interfaces/interoperability solutions for Healthcare products
- Specialized knowledge in EMR, HIMS, RCM, PHM, Care Management, LIMS, Public Health etc. technology and healthcare delivery. Ability to provide technical depth and business acumen.
- Ability to provide a complete and thorough presentation and explanation of solution components or concepts to senior level management, customers, or internal stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and add value to the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working with at UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms, and associated integration techniques Experience working with Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Experience in designing and implementing solutions using SOA Application Integration technologies and methodologies
- Experience in JAVA Application and SOA Middleware development and SOA Governance Experience in implementing Healthcare standard messaging platforms, including HL7, EDI, 4010/5010, and healthcare adapters, interfaces, and services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Specific healthcare standards experience : RIM 3, CDA, SNOMED, LOINC, HL7 2 and 3, Lab, Rx, IHE standards, S&I framework, ONC Exchange and Direct Specific technology experience : J2EE, OSGi, Web and Restful services, Drools, Service Mix, CXF, Apache MQ, jBPM, JMS, memcache and hazelcast, Apache foundation components, RDF, OWL, JSON, XML, W3C standards Technology Careers with Optum.
