Overview :
Financial Planning and Analysis role is responsible for providing key insights including trends, opportunities, risks, and concerns. This manager will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis organization in a high impact role designed to help drive cost improvements throughout the enterprise. This position will provide the manager with an opportunity to make a real impact to the business.
Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of finance analysts
- Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance
- Be a consultant to business stakeholders - provide in-depth analyses, develop business cases and recommendations for innovations to address business opportunities
- Oversee financial planning processes including close and forecast
- Manage projects ensuring quality, timeliness and effectiveness of analysis and solutions
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
- Participate in hiring and training activities for team
- Create cost awareness and help foster sensible cost management throughout the business through reporting and analysis
- Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands-on approach
Qualifications :
Education :
- MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from a premium Indian institution ( IIM/ISB) or International Equivalent
Knowledge/Skills Required :
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proven experience managing multiple projects effectively required
- Experience in building, motivating and coaching teams
- 4-6 years in a finance related field
Preferred :
- In depth knowledge of accounting and financial statements
- Prior Hyperion Planning experience
- Previous experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Spotfire and Oracle OBIEE Experience
- Prior leadership experience
Other :
- About 4-6 weeks of travel to US in a year required
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the role
