Unit Head - Securities Market Services

Reports to : Head - SMS Operations

Location : Hyderabad

Reporting Vertical : Reporting to Head of Securities Market Services (COGSMS) operations

Job Role and Responsibilities :

- Good understanding of Capital Market environment, trade cycle and regulatory environment of capital market in India

- Hands on experience of custodial operations. Good understanding of all aspects of custodial services incl. Fund accounting

- Well verse with custodial regulations, FPI regulations and DP regulations and other relevant regulatory guidelines

- Fair understanding of exchange traded derivatives clearing, depository participant services, settlement Bank to stock and commodity exchange and Loan against securities

- Co-ordination with Business and Technology teams for implementing any changes in system or new functionality or product development

- Optimal utilization of resources in maximizing output through minimal inputs even in designing customized solutions

- Effective collaboration with internal and external teams and external entities

- Coordination with regulatory authorities on aspects including reporting and clarifications

- Adherence to TAT internally and externally, timely and accurate regulatory reporting

- Team development

Deliverables :

Customer Service :

- Completing transactions within Specified TAT

- Pro-active customer service

- Addressing customer queries

Compliance and Risk Management :

- Ensure operations, risk control and process adherence at securities market services

- Ensure regulatory audits, Internal audits and other audits are handled in an efficient and proactive manner

- Addressing the queries and adhoc report / data requirements from regulatory authorities / depositories / exchanges etc

Educational Qualifications :

MBA Regular/CA with 12-16 years exp
