Unit Head - P&L - Cloud Business


Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership & P&L Management :

- Own and drive the - 300 crore cloud business, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, expansion plans, and business models to scale cloud services.

- Identify new business opportunities and drive digital transformation initiatives for enterprise customers.

Sales & Business Development :

- Lead a high-performing cloud sales team to acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.

- Develop and manage relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Heads, and key decision-makers.

- Work with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and drive joint GTM strategies with partners.

- Build a strong partner ecosystem with ISVs, system integrators, and managed service providers (MSPs).

- Ensure quarterly and annual revenue targets are met through enterprise sales and channel partnerships.

Cloud Services & Solution Innovation :

- Define and enhance cloud offerings across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, security, and hybrid/multi-cloud solutions.

- Collaborate with technical architects and pre-sales teams to design cloud-native solutions.

- Keep track of emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing to stay ahead of the competition.

Operational Excellence & Delivery Management :

- Oversee end-to-end cloud services delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction and SLAs adherence.

- Drive automation, security, and compliance initiatives across cloud operations.

- Work closely with finance, HR, and other business units to streamline operations and cost efficiencies.

Team Leadership & Talent Development :

- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing cloud sales, pre-sales, and technical team.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.

- Develop training programs to upskill teams on cloud technologies and solution selling.

Key Requirements :

Experience & Qualifications :

- 15+ years of experience in IT/Cloud services with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven track record of scaling a cloud business to - 300 crore+ revenue.

- Strong expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and multi-cloud strategies.

- Experience in managed services, cloud migration, and digital transformation projects.

- P&L ownership experience with a focus on revenue growth and profitability.

- Strong relationships with C-level executives, hyperscalers, and channel partners.

- MBA/PGDM preferred, with a technical background in Cloud Computing, IT Infrastructure, or Software Engineering.

Skills & Competencies :

- Leadership & Strategic Thinking : Ability to drive business vision, market expansion, and revenue growth.

- Cloud Solution Expertise : Deep knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DevOps, and security.

- Sales & Partner Management : Strong experience in enterprise sales, alliances, and GTM strategy.

- Operational Excellence : Hands-on experience in cloud operations, delivery, and SLA management.

- Innovation & Agility : Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving cloud trends and customer needs.

- Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
