Unit Head/Lead - Mining - Conglomerate

Note: We are urgently looking for candidates who have broad experience in Heading unit of LEAD MINING & operations business. Strong exposure in P&L management including Planning, Execution & Expansion.

Others METALS experience are not required

Position: Unit Head - Lead Mining

Company : Renowned Conglomerate based in West Africa

Experience : 16-22 Years

Location : Nigeria, Corporate Office (Work from Office)

Qualification: Regular Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, Geology, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred.

CTC : 8k-10k USD + Other benefits

Joining: As soon as possible

Industry Experience required: Lead Mining

Candidate must have good stability in career. Frequent job changes will not be entertained

Mandatory Skills :

- Professional with a background of 15-20 years of experience and track record in mining software, geological mapping tools, and familiarity with industry-specific equipment Ability to lead multi-disciplined teams.

- At least 15 years of demonstrated strategic leadership experience with strong technical knowledge of Lead Mining operations including P&L responsibility in a leadership role

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance within the mining sector.

- Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to changing conditions.

- Excellent communication skills

- Pleasing personality

Responsibilities :

- He will be overall Incharge from Lead mining to Lead manufacturing and then Battery manufacturing in Nigeria.

- The primary duties will encompass Exploration and Site Assessment to identify potential lead ore deposits. Analyze geological data and plan effective mining strategies.

- Oversee and coordinate the extraction process, including drilling, blasting, and transportation of lead ore.

- Ensure efficient extraction techniques and optimize production output

- Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental guidelines.

- Responsible for driving business growth, strengthening organizational capabilities, and providing strategic guidance for expansion plans, efficient operations, sustainability, and governance.

- Maintain conducive relations with local community and Govt officials.

- Better coordination with internal (including global team) & external stakeholder.
