Designation - Unit Head
Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for smooth and efficient functioning of the Hospital including management of profit and loss statement for the Hospitals- business as well as related resources associated with the Hospital operations
Strategic:
- Plan and strengthen all services including Medical, Operations, Nursing and other related areas for optimum patient satisfaction
- Develop and strengthen Risk management policies for the Hospital
- Develop Resource utilization program
- Provide Management oversight for the development of high quality, cost effective and integrated services within the Hospital
- Ensure that the revenue and profit is generated as per Business Plan and implement corrective measures as and when required to meet the Business Plan
- Constantly review the Hospital operations in response to changes in customer demand, identify scope for improvement, update CEO and implement the final decision after CEO's approval
- Ensure effective communication, interpretation & implementation of Management decisions of the Hospital
- Oversee major workforce and resource decisions for the Hospital
Operational Support Clinical Governance:
- Ensure implementation of all strategic initiatives taken by Quality team, Infection Control Committee, Waste Management Committee etc. etc
- Support the Medical Services in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with the medical fraternity of the Hospital
- Support the Medical Services team in conducting regular CME's and other related medical education initiatives/ trainings
Operational Support:
- Ensure in close coordination with Operations & ancillary service departments, seamless patient care
- Ensure timely Marketing interventions for organizing Medical Camps/CME's within the Hospital as well as outside the Hospital
- Ensure effective collaboration between clinical and non clinical departments for ultimate customer satisfaction
