This position reports to Head of Infrastructure Provisioning, and will be based out of Mysuru, India. You will provide technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to the mission of Infrastructure Provisioning group. The main responsibilities of the post are: - Work with Head of Infra Provisioning to ensure Cloud Platform/Services designed &amp; implemented to support cloud infrastructure initiatives and are aligned with the overall business strategies and priorities. - Demonstrate hand-on knowledge of Cloud Computing, Storage and Networking. Provisioning and administration using best practices for customers across multiple cloud offering. - Ensure all technical procedures (installation, configuration, run books and standard operating procedures, checklists, etc.) documented and updated and are contributing to the maintenance of operational standards. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and system administration tasks wherever possible - Assist GM - Infra Provisioning to deliver infrastructure capability transformation for both internal and external stakeholders, with focus on user-experience, resilience, performance, availability and total cost of ownership. - Contribute to delivering operational excellence with focus on the service management and NetOps/DevOps approach to achieve agility, speed, scale and efficiency and improve service experience, up-time and resilience. - Work with vendors, engineering teams, cross-functional delivery teams and rest of operations teams to architect and design the infrastructure for customer facing products and services as well for the R&amp;D environments. - Contribute to build a high performing Infrastructure Provisioning team that operates with a culture of business and customer centricity. - Implement service and system monitoring capability to proactively address the operational issues for all customer facing infrastructure assets. - Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for Infra Provisioning staff and foster a culture of accountability, innovation and team building. - Day-to-day Google cloud infrastructure operations (system administration of presentation/application/database/infra tier Google servers, project &amp; snapshot creation, cost pricing, OS build, user creation, ACL/permissions, monitor log files, file sync, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployments, infrastructure - software &amp; hardware upgrade &amp; migration, shell scripting, product/tool installation &amp; configuration, server cloning, backup, infra tuning, etc.) - Monitoring &amp; management - Tool alert setup, configuration and monitoring, including server health checks, attend server critical warnings &amp; outages (compute, load, performance, SSL Cert, ERP, etc.), troubleshooting server (compute, load, performance, service, open connection, etc.), network &amp; storage infrastructure (snapshots, backup, restore, etc.) with RCA &amp; remediation plan. - Based on customer project requirement, work with Technical Project Management team to compute capacity planning and management (hardware sizing) - Assist Testing team with server performance tuning and testing (performance, load, stress &amp; soak testing) - Manage, schedule and provision application, product &amp; infrastructure deployments (ad-hoc &amp; weekend, both scheduled &amp; unplanned), including spinning up servers in different environments (sandbox, stage, prod, etc.). - Experience using Issue Management tool. Specialist Skills &amp; Requirements Essential:&nbsp; - 13+ years Infrastructure operations experience managing complex IT infrastructure, developing high security, high availability solutions. 5+ years of building and managing Cloud infrastructure. - 4+ years of experience, leading, building and managing high performing teams Education: Bachelor's degree in related field. - Experienced with running and delivering large complex infrastructure leveraging hybrid and public cloud infrastructure technologies; Google Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong Line Management skills essential including the ability to further develop the team's skills. Excellent motivational, time management and decision-making skills are other key attributes required. - In depth knowledge of infrastructure and automation technologies, deployment and monitoring technologies. - Experience developing and/or supporting core Infrastructure computing services (virtualization, OS, server, storage, networking &amp; security). - Experience with storage products from NetApp and/or other storage products. - Experience with Cloud orchestration and containerization concepts, including clustering and scheduling suites such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. - Experience with CentOS, openSUSE and Windows NOS - Experience with JIRA or equivalent Issue Management tool - DB - Oracle, SQL, MySql, MongoDB - Web/Application Server - Tomcat, ActiveMQ, Apache Web, etc. - Experience with monitoring (Zabbix, Nagios, Pingdom, Grafana, etc.) and logging solutions (Splunk, etc.) - Experienced with DevOps &amp; ITIL approach in running a superior infrastructure operations and delivery function. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks or projects; both self &amp; team - Pro-active and self-starter, with proven history of thriving in a fast-paced environment, while dealing with ambiguity. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
