Our people need, and deserve, technology tools and services that work  The role of Lifecycle Management (LCM) & Configuration Data Integration Manager, part of the IT Shared Services team is key to ensuring Configuration Management and Lifecycle Management is embedded into Unilevers long term strategy by delivering innovative solutions while balancing cost and efficiency for all Unilevers IT services.  To drive business innovation, Unilever has moved to a platform-based focus with clear Technology Leadership, this will allow Unilever to:  - Drive simplification  - Increase scalability and reuse  - Increase internal knowledge and expertise  - Lower total cost of ownership   - Speed innovation time to delivery  - Allow Unilever to do more with less.  The role will drive the management data requirement for Configuration Management and will work closely with the LCM, Apptio and Config management teams to drive, implement and support the strategy and vision for ITSS. This is an ongoing activity as part of the IT Shared Services strategy and will establish a full lifecycle and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) governance, process and structure to drive, adopt and govern all of ETS's services.   Key Accountabilities:  This role will be to support two main areas as part of the IT Shared Service team.  Lifecycle Management is a new initiative to drive change in 2017. Driving change is critical to this role as is involves 4 main areas for LCM  1: To provide full service visibility to all Lifecycle owners and VPs.   2: Complete data clean up including quality reviews  3: Review current processes and align to one process design and plan.  4: Provide a full decision making process to all Lifecycle VPs  Configuration Management supports the management of the IT global Configuration Management process, procedures, tools, governance framework & BAU. The availability, performance and health of the IT Infrastructure are reliant on World Class Data Centres, how we manage the infrastructure through our CMDB is critical to the success of business.  Accountabilities include:  - Uses the appropriate operating systems, hardware, tools and/or paper documentation to maintain the configuration management system, including the Configuration management database (CMDB), ensuring that appropriate data, forms and configuration items (CIs) are available for use by all authorised personnel.  - Responsible for the availability of asset data to Technology Service provisioning / optimization/Lifecycle & Financial Management Data in the respective tools.  - Lead the discussion about the long-term data integration initiative in order to make it consistent, successful and beneficial.  - Working with areas to define standards, guidelines and templates and managing the input and output of ITSS management tools  - Working with the LCM/Config Mangers to define and embed the governance strategy and design  - Managing and owning the day to day governance of Configuration and new LCM data requirements.   - Manage and maintain all applicable tools, applications and reporting set while also defining the overall governance model and processes for these tools  - Support all teams and drive visibility of the processes to all Owners and VPs thorough the service review process  - Providing SME knowledge for all Lifecycle management processes and working closely with the LCM process lead and data analyst.  Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications:  You will have a relevant Bachelor's degree and a passionate focus on Portfolio Management, Configuration Management and IT service. You have, and can demonstrate:   - Confidence and influencing, being able to make an immediate impact with our key stakeholders.  - Excellent understanding IT networks, platforms and infrastructure on a global facing business.  - Full understanding of Lifecycle Management, portfolio management and Process Management.  - Excellent computer literacy and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills using a multitude of reporting tools (Tableau) and other applications - ability to focus and highlight key aspects and output results in a clear and concise manner.  - Data Analysis & Investigative skills - ability to troubleshoot data errors and chase down the - source- to find solutions  - Problem solving and IT maintenance knowledge.  - Excellent working knowledge and strong IT business awareness and understanding of ITIL practices and CMDB.  - Great interpersonal skills at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations  - The necessary experience and cultural awareness to work within a global team.  - Sound commercial, organisational, time management and staff management skills  - Strong networking and influencing skills (organisational relationship building)
