Unicorn Tech Media - Content Head

Unicorn Tech Media is looking for a Content head to look after the gadget division (automotive, mobile, laptops).

As the content head, you will

- Develop and oversees an integrated content strategy that encompasses channel selection and focus, editorial governance, and metrics to be applied and aligned with the business's overall objectives.

- Be responsible for the creation of the editorial structure within the content department in order to ensure that all content across the business is integrated and aligned to support business objectives.

- Play a collaborative role by partnering up with the marketing team to support marketing activities such as product branding, content, and messages etc.

- Also partner with the sales team for the purpose of developing sales content and the identification of target consumers and potential markets

- Also be the internal project management lead who will improve content processes, implements solutions to ensure that the team is functioning efficiently, and ensures quality and compliance, or other regulatory needs.

- You are someone who is very much in tune with technology, technological advancements, and current affairs and will ensure that the whole content department is up to date for the production of relevant and relatable content.

Required skills:

- Experience in handling a team.

- 8+ years of experience in Auto/Tech Journalism.

- Should have a keen interest in technology and gadgets (automobiles, mobiles, laptops, TVs, etc)

- Build, lead, and review the work of the creative team in the production of all print, and digital marketing collateral.

- The candidate should have an excellent command of the English language and effective written communication skills

- Focus on customer experience and result orientation.

- Collaboration and teamwork

- Understanding of search engine optimization

- Punctual and should be able to take up tasks well

- Since it is online journalism, a quick turnaround time of stories is necessary

- Should be able to work on tight deadlines

- Positive attitude and professional work ethics

- Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems

- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere

- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points

- High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills

Must have:

- Have a degree ((BJMS/Eng honors)/MBA/Mass comm or equivalent) in a related field from a premier institute.

- Have 8+ years of experience in tech journalism.

- Have handled large teams and operations.
