Key responsibilities.
To deliver the HR strategy alongside the overall Strategy, working closely with the Senior Management team.
- All operational and strategic people-based activities aligned to the business including organisational design and development, learning and talent development & Succession Planning, resourcing and talent planning, reward and recognition, HR service delivery and information.
- To challenge and coach leadership on employee engagement, building organisation effectiveness and acting as an agent for change.
- Working closely with all other areas of HR - for example, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Compensation & Benefits.
- Implement HR initiatives and processes by advising, guiding and supporting all colleagues and managers, influencing management and leadership as necessary.
- Manage complex, sensitive and sometimes difficult HR issues while at the same time supporting, developing and coaching people managers to manage these issues effectively.
- Manage ER issues including the implementation of corrective action procedures, grievance investigations and conflict resolution.
- Leads the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans (PDPs) and employee development programs.
- Establishes an employee learning and development system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation or onboarding, management development, production cross-training, the measurement of training impact, and training transfer.
- Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor law requirements
- Manage performance exits, restructures and liaising with external council and unions as needed.
- Coordinate local recruitment & selection processes working closely with the Talent acquisition team to ensure capability gaps are reduced and business disruption is avoided.
- Ensure that all recruitment activity is in line with budget and is undertaken in line with Financial Control Group process. Support managers and leaders with quarterly forecasting of new roles and salary increases in line with career pathways.
- Manage the interview process locally ensuring managers follow the selection process required and avoid unconscious bias. Manage on boarding for domestic and international locations.
Desired Skills Required
- Anyone with 12-15 years of experience in HR Functions
- Experience working in a startup and/or a product company preferred
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to learn technical information, work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Experience with a SaaS company is a plus
