We are urgently hiring for Underwriter in leading General Insurance Company for Chennai location.

The basic product will be Crop or Weather Insurance .

Job Description of Under-writer Profile :

- Lead underwriting crop insurance. (Should have enough exposure in leading/ handling crop / weather insurance)

- Shoulder responsibilities for Risk selection, assessment and Rating on crop insurance. Posses technical expertise on Risk selection, Data collection and usage, Rating, liasoning with re insurers

- Shoulder delivering underwriting decisions and secure profitable business within the agreed risk appetite on all Rural Business.

- Contributing to the production of new policy wordings or reviews of existing policy wordings to ensure policy documentation is current and accurate.
