ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE:
- Responsible for overall segment strategy including sales planning, product designing, strategic launch, training of sales force and monitoring of product performance for overall segment strategy including sales planning, product designing, strategic launch, training of sales force and monitoring of product performance.
- Developing the customized product/proposition and continuously work on upgrading the same.
- Regular product benchmarking with competition and strategy for product re-alignment.
- Monitoring and managing the segment/product profitability.
- Lead the cross functional team for technical and operational processes for successful launch of product.
- Developing the detailed engagement plan for keeping the segment transactional.
- Working with marketing for regular BTL activity and managing the complete product communication and life cycle.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Business:
- Own the business segment and ensure the branches achieve their budgeted numbers for that segment.
- Review the portfolio and increase the pocket share of customer.
- Drive the engagement strategy and increase the number of product per customer.
Customer:
- Develop and implement suitable marketing/sales strategies to deepen customer relationships.
- Ensure the process in place to resolve escalated customer queries/complaints within the prescribed TAT.
- Train the sales team to improve the products knowledge, product per customers by additional cross sell and up sell of Ujjivan products to the existing customers.
Internal Process:
- Continually scan the market to determine the market size and market penetration of the retail, products vis- vis competition; formulate strategies to leverage opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Conduct continuous review process for maintaining the product profitability margin.
- Drive the campaigns across the cluster for respective retail products.
Learning & Performance:
- Ensure that the reports within the team maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control in execution of all their daily operations.
- Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs and completion of mandatory training programs/certifications for self and team members.
- Ensure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happens within specified timelines for self and reports.
Educational Qualifications: MBA or equivalent in Marketing or Finance.
Experience: 5-8 Years of experience in retail banking products.
