Manager Credit & Collections Strategy
I. ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE: Supports senior management, collection strategy, decision making, management dashboard & providing insight and devising strategy for efficient collection & reporting
II. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:1. Business/ Financials:- Analysing the data and implementing different collection strategies for enhanced collection
- Analyse big data and understand trends to provide actionable insights that impacts business bottom line
- Display string storytelling and articulation skills to convert analytical output into clear, concise and persuasive insights for collection action on overdue accounts
- Create reports and dashboards to facilitate faster decision making
- End to end monitoring for performance and productivity
- Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic & adhoc basis.
- Preparing collection deck having various portfolio & collection cuts.
- Timely allocation of cases to field staff as per the devised strategy
- Supporting in budgeting & forecasting activities
- Monitoring performance of the field staff vis-a vis pre defined targets.
- Assist with internal & external audits.
- Regular improvements in processes/strategies
2. Customer (Both Internal & External):Customer centric AORs:- Seek feedback from stakeholders on the challenges faced during software usage and work on solution
- Ensure timely resolution of issues faced by end consumers.
- Provide necessary details to field Credit & collections & other relevant team with respect to customers for better service & compliance.
Stakeholders interactions:
- Ensure timely reporting of all statutory & regulatory requirements with accuracy.
3. Internal Process:Compliance to SLA/Policies/Processes:- Have a clear understanding of internal business and Regulatory processes/policies andability to apprehend the stakeholders on the requirements
- Analyze and prepare insights on high risk customers/geographies for focused approach
- Work towards automation of projects/process improvements
- Initiate cost savings measures
Process Management/ Process Excellence:- Cross functional co-ordination with operations, credit, collections & IT for portfolio monitoring.
- Responsible for timely & accurate submission of daily, weekly & monthly reporting
4. Innovation & Learning:- Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self and team
