Details of Responsibilities / Purpose of Job:

The candidate will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

Job Components:

1.Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget

2. Develop, perform and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting

3. Understand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions

4.Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies

5.Craft and manage PeopleSoft reports

6. Help drive key insights and analytics

Required Skills:

- Masters in Commerce/ MBA / Chartered Accountant ( Inter ) / Cost Accountants ( Inter )

- Minimum of 5 -9 yrs of experience in total and 4+ yrs handling Financial Planning and Analysis process in BPO

- Knowledge on planning, forecasting and budgeting using Hyperion cubes

- Working knowledge of software tools ( Ex: PeopleSoft, Essbase, Excel, MS Access etc)

- Experience working with strict deadlines (i.e. month-end close process) and proven ability to be successful in a fast paced environment

- Analytical skills & an inquisitive mind, strong communication skills and documentation ability, detail oriented, self-motivated and ability to proactively work toward a goal without significant structure or rules

- Working knowledge on MS Excel/Access
