Job Description:
- Lead and mentor a team of black belts to drive lean and six sigma projects across business or functions
- Be responsible for driving Quality agenda for the line of service/business for the site
- Facilitate & drive Six Sigma quality culture in the organization
- Responsible for developing the skills of BBs
- Coach/consult executive management in creating proper infrastructure for successful deployment and support
- Guide Champions with project selection and scope, assuring linkage between projects and business and partner priorities
- Mentor and coach Champions, Black Belts and Green Belts in the use of Six Sigma tools and methodology to ensure timely completion of projects with expected results
- Translate broad organization goals to specific projects.
- Identify opportunities and deliver on initiatives to increase productivity/utilization of resources and drive efficiency and effectiveness gains
- Collaborate well with customer quality & operations teams.
Education and Experience
- Post Graduate and Certified Master Black Belt
- 10-18 years of experience with 5-7 years in a Lean Six Sigma quality role
- Extensive experience of applying lean six sigma methodologies to drive process improvements
- Experience in relevant industry domain - desirable
- Healthcare domain experience required
Skills Required:
- Strong working exposure on Quality concepts and methodologies
- Strong people management skills
- Expert in applying Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, Tools,
- Hands on Experience on Statistical tool - Minitab
- Results based focused skill set with strong impact and influencing skills.
- Tenacity and energy in leading change towards an effective work environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate team and others, maintaining a persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of the organization.
