Roles and Responsibility:

Fund Strategy and Planning: Must develop and implement the investment strategy for the real estate fund. This involves determining the fund's investment goals, target asset classes, risk tolerance, and overall investment approach;

Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identification and evaluation of potential real estate investment opportunities. This involves conducting market research, financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment to assess the feasibility and profitability of potential investments;
- Investment Decision-making: Based on the fund's investment strategy and the analysis of potential opportunities, the fund manager makes investment decisions on behalf of the fund. This includes selecting properties or projects to invest in, negotiating deals, and structuring the investments;

Portfolio Management: Actively managing the real estate portfolio of the fund. This involves monitoring the performance of the properties, overseeing property management activities, analyzing market trends, and making adjustments to the portfolio as needed to optimize returns and manage risks;

Investor Reporting: Maintains regular communication with the fund's sponsors, providing updates on the fund's performance, investment activities, and any relevant market or regulatory changes including compliance with legal and reporting obligations;

Risk Management: The fund manager assesses and manages the risks associated with the real estate investments. This includes identifying and mitigating potential risks, such as market fluctuations, property-specific risks, or changes in regulations, to protect the interests of the fund and its investors;
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: The fund manager tracks the financial performance of the fund and prepares regular reports for investors, providing information on returns, expenses, portfolio composition, and other relevant metrics. They may also conduct performance reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Brand Building: Create partnerships and affiliation with the RE funds / RE investors / institutional players and maintain relationships with RE Developers, broker network, RE focussed NBFC's and any player active in the RE ecosystem. They may also visit various events organised by the RE players to create a dominant name and positioning of the Fund;

Team Building & Coordination: Developing cordial relationship with both internal and external stakeholders, who are relevant during the lifecycle of the fund;
Preference:- Has at least 7 yrs of work experience with a RE fund or RE NBFC;
- Has been part of a Developer team for scouting opportunities;
- Top Tier College, having strong Academic background;
- Having relationships from the RE space;
- Quest to lead a Fund from scratch with Managing Partner;
