Inventory Excellence Lead : Inventory planning & Operations is at the centre of business, technology and operations processes. The Inventory Excellence lead translates business strategy into executable processes and proactively identifies the need for new processes. This role will manage the overall inventory health of the category to deliver industry-best performance in working capital goals. This role will also be responsible for building and creating systems and process around Inventory management for the category in Foods Business. Key Responsibilities : - Complete Understanding of end-to-end supply chain and complex modelling of workflows for Category - Provide specific cost reduction and waste removal opportunities within and across categories and external support teams - Build and create systems and processes around managing inventory. - Identify and articulate strategic importance of metrics as a basis for managing trade-offs, improving the customer experience and making decisions with internal and external stakeholders - Identify opportunities to enhance relationships & systemic processes with key stakeholders - Will be involved in Negotiation of operational changes with vendors in partnership with sourcing Managers to drive supply chain improvements. - Work closely with vendor leadership and/or operations senior leaders on strategies to reduce cost, lead time, and waste across the end-to-end supply chain - Deliver maximum product availability in the category ensuing healthy inventory level and optimal supply chain set-up - Drive system/process improvements working with technical teams, vendor operations, and inventory management. - Be solution-oriented & integrate strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision making and problem solving Functional & Competencies : - Problem solving : The role needs the individual to be able to solve for a given business problem in sometimes an ambiguous state and with multiple data streams impacting decision making - Data driven / analytical : The role requires the individual to be comfortable in processing and analysing volume of multiple data streams to enable meeting company targets. - Collaborative skills : The role requires the incumbent to work closely and coordinate with the Internal and external teams to create success. She/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment. - Results orientation : The role is required to work and deliver on daily numbers, short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business and efficacy.
