UBS - IPV Valuation Controller

Your role :

- Independently verify the valuation of the Bank's equity derivative and other trading portfolios

- Independently verify the valuation of the Bank's collateral positions

- Ensure that appropriate reserves are calculated given the nature and risks of the portfolio

- Report on the accuracy of reserves and valuations to senior management

- Develop improved testing and analysis processes, based on understanding of the business and positions

- Review and management any work performed by a 3rd party strategic partner.

- Will be integral to the identification and resolution of global valuation related issues ranging from those originating within the Organization and from external regulatory bodies.

- Build strong working relationships within all key areas within the organization, including the trading desks, trade support and business unit controllers

Your team :

The role will be in the UBS Valuations team based in Mumbai and functionally support Equity Valuation Control teams globally.

Your experience and skills :

- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Finance/ Engineering/ Mathematics from an institute of repute.

- Strong analytical skills demonstrated by Maths / science qualifications

- Aptitude for computing applications, including Excel, VBA and Access

- Experience in financial derivatives, preferably Equities/IPV

- Strong understanding of basic concepts of pricing derivatives and risks associated

- Knowledge of Cash equities and equity derivative products
