Head- Business Development (Tender) (20-25 yrs)
I. Position Summary :
1. Should have exposure of Oil & Gas and Process sector tender (Generation, Distribution &Transmission & O&M business line)
2. Process & having capabilities to map the technical Requirements & support for submit & prepare approach &
3. Methodology as desired by customer.
4. Should have cross functional experience in renewable, energy efficiency with consulting / EPC, Lender
5. Engineering services, industries & bank Sourcing for project funding.
6. Should have Proficiency across Business development Bid management, Tendering & Estimation and
7. Project management & empanelment with PSU, Bank, power & renewable sector private customer
II. Responsibility and Authority :
1. Track, prepare, submit and manage Government and private & public tenders across India, pertaining to oil & gas and process, power industry.
2. Services mainly includes Project Management consultancy, Third party Inspection jobs, Owners Engineer
3. services, Environmental & operation maintenance services & advisory etc..
4. Detailed study of tender documents, contract conditions, specifications and Drawings & statutory compliances
5. Liasoning with various departments, clients during pre & post activities of tender.
6. Preparing GO-NO GO analysis, BOQs, methodology, Rate Analysis, Direct Cost, Indirect Cost, technical and
7. Commercial deviations, etc. for bidding purpose.
8. Prepare response to RFP, necessary templates, compliance & justification statements etc.
9. Develop & coordinate for consortium / JV partners to meet qualification criteria on case to case basis.
10. Analyze risk associated and preparation of the risk analysis chart for top management review.
11. Perform e tendering activities for various government, PSU, Private tenders.
12. Schedule management meetings and present tender review notes to explain the associated risk, profitability,
13. methodology, schedules etc. Contract signing and Initiate the kick of meeting post tender award.
14. Identifying and evaluating the potential projects from various relevant web base portal & digital platform.
15. Managing tenders by identifying the consortium partners and preparing the documentation for tender participation.
16. Attend pre bid meetings, preparing synopsis, GO-NO GO analysis, responding to queries, co coordinating with internal
17. teams and internal kick off meetings.
18. Developing Solar & wind projects under BOOT / PPA model for the potential customers through various Private
19. Investors from India & abroad, through various nationalized banks.
20. Keeping a track of all the updates and changes in the government policies on PV solar plants, tariffs, PPAs, and technological trends
21. Keep a track of all the products along with their pricing offered by the competitors.
III. Education and Experience
1.BE/B. Tech-Mechanical/Electrical +PGDM / MBA in Sales / Marketing
2. 15+yrs of experience with Oil & Gas, Process and power consultancy firm / EPC industry, Service Provide industries.
