- The role of Marketing Operations is to focus on the strategy, design, execution and operations of the businesss lead management processes, marketing databases, marketing automation solutions to include integration with SFDC, and tracking performance in order to plan, report, and conduct analyses. The Marketing Operations Manager should be agile and have a passion for data, metrics, and reporting.
- The Marketing Operations Manager also excels in operations that facilitate scalability, predictability, and efficiency of marketing operations. This is an engaging and hands-on role and Marketing Operations, therefore, is an individual who is highly capable of operating and excelling at the strategic and the tactical functions.
Must currently be Marketo Certified :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage all aspects of our marketing technology stack including the web site, identifying areas of inefficiency for optimization
- Evaluate, prioritize, and implement new technologies to improve and optimize marketing processes, drive revenue generation and ensure a consistent customer experience; assure smooth integration with the current stack
- Establish, optimize and oversee end-to-end marketing processes to ensure they are efficient, scalable and organized
- Continually improve and optimize data quality across marketing database
- Establish KPIs, measure performance and track the impact of campaigns and tactics
- Provide reporting showing accurate view of marketing performance and business contribution
- Proactively analyze marketing data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the demand generation team to optimize strategy, attribution models and funnel economics in order to meet KPIs
- Code all email sends, complete QA for each send on time generally weekly
- Deliver leads to sales expeditiously using the technology stack; track sales activities
- Troubleshoot website issues and optimize for SEO/SEM with urgency
- Troubleshoot marketing stack issues and apply fixes with urgency
- Attend US team meetings daily
Skills & Requirements :
- 7+ years in B2B marketing in a SaaS environment
- Thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices, both theoretical and practical
- Proven experience managing marketing technology systems, with a strong background in Marketo and Salesforce
- Experience implementing and optimizing multi-touch attribution models and solutions
- Project Management skills
- Strong quantitative orientation
- Proficient in analyzing data and spotting trends
- Proven track record of delivering business results
- Highly organized and autonomous, but also collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years hands-on experience with data visualization software (e.g. Domo)
- 3+ years Salesforce experience related to integration with Marketo and the marketing stack
- 5+ years of HTML capability
- Demonstrated leadership in applying marketing technology to improve execution and contribute to company growth
