About the Job:

Data Scientist of Balancehero India aims to achieve tangible results by solving business problems by using ML/DL/Statistics in production-level. We are looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive Data Scientist with a strong machine learning background to solve business problems.

Responsibilities:

- Explore and process data from all kind of data source

- Apply several techniques in order to derive patterns from the data

- Data analysis and modeling using python

- Prediction of default probability and calculation of appropriate interest rate for each personal loan

- Estimating a user's salary / income / emi

- As a data scientist, the experience of managing all pipeline from EDA to developing & serving & monitoring model

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related technical/scientific field

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building machine learning systems

- Coding and problem-solving skills in python

- Practical experience in handling small data using pandas ecosystem such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels

- Practical experience in handling big data using Hadoop ecosystem such as Hive, Spark, Presto

- Communication in English

Preferred qualification:

- Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related technical/scientific field

- Practical experience in operating real-time prediction ML products

- Practical experience in solving complex problems in an applied environment

- Practical experience in building deep learning systems
