Trivantage Capital - Equity Analyst - Manufacturing & Industrial Sectors

Responsibilities:

(1) Conduct in-depth analysis of companies within the Manufacturing and Industrials sectors, covering financial, operational, and market-driven factors.

(2) Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, relative valuation, and sensitivity analysis, to evaluate companies and provide recommendations.

(3) Monitor industry trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes that could impact sector performance.

(4) Prepare comprehensive reports, including investment theses, earnings previews, and company updates for clients and internal stakeholders.

(5) Participate in earnings calls, management meetings, and site visits to gather insights and stay updated on business operations.

(6) Collaborate with the portfolio management team to support sector-related investment strategies and generate actionable ideas.

(7) Communicate key insights and recommendations effectively through presentations, written reports, and client discussions.

Requirements:

- CFA Charter holder; candidates pursuing Level III may also be considered.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred); a master's in finance or MBA is an added advantage.

- 2-3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, consulting, or a similar role within the Manufacturing and Industrials sectors.

- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Excel, financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet), and relevant analytical tools.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Indian Manufacturing and Industrial sectors and a network within the industry.

- Demonstrated interest in emerging trends such as automation, energy efficiency, and digital transformation in manufacturing.
