Company:   TAS Analytic Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Time Inc and operates out of Bangalore, India.TAS provides an individual the unique opportunity to be part of the offshore support team where processes are handled for magazine titles, both digital and print.   Position Statement:  Lead and manage the effort to transition Time Inc. consumer panels (13) to a single source option with low cost implementation tools. These consumer panels are accessed by multiple functions within Time Inc. for various needs - custom ROI ad effectiveness studies, category studies to support sales efforts, brand content evaluation, new product evaluation, added value studies, provided to key advertisers, polling for editors, promotional support for marketing teams, plus other ad hoc needs. Most studies are quantitative, but the ability to use panelists for qualitative research is often needed.   Key Responsibilities:  - Develop and implement a timely plan (3-4 months) to transition the Time Inc. consumer panels from current structure across 4 external suppliers  - Determine an on-going low cost service and cost per study structure for panels, whether internal Bangalore team or off shore supplier, including creating and managing research team to field and collect data for all needed studies across internal client base - U.S. Consumer Insights team and assigned support from Bangalore brand research teams; Business Insights for ROI ad effectiveness studies, Bangalore based CI Directors for lower priority brands (if panel is available), brand publishing teams (for promotional communications)  - Transfer all consumer databases to a single platform and master database with the ability to capture and track panelist level data on an ongoing basis  - Develop recruitment and panel registration survey which includes key common panelist criteria (demos, interest areas, media usage) and allows for custom needs per brand  - Create and implement an incentive structure to encourage panelist participation, ideally common across all panels  - Develop protocol for study deliverables - timing, costs, frequency of studies to accommodate 2-4 studies per panel per month   - Create a structure to allow for cross Time Inc. panels deployment and analyses for needed studies  - Develop brand panels’ websites and communication templates to facilitate respondent participation  - Schedule, coordinate and implement all required studies to include survey programming, study deployment (largely via email invite), incentive fulfillment, and data delivery to multitude of research constituencies in easy to use format to support analysis and report writing  - Determine efficient option for securing general market (U.S) sample to be used for bench-marking for selective studies  - Develop and execute new member recruitment plan, including working directly with brand teams to utilize brand resources for recruiting (internal email samples, in book/on-line/social solicitations, etc.)  - Create an ongoing respondent engagement strategy and panel health tracking system per panel  - Serve as knowledge expert on consumer panels for all of Time Inc.   - Train and supervise any team to service consumer panels  - Manage budgets for all panels  Skills and Expertise:  - The individual must have experience with developing and managing numerous consumer panels and communities. Prior work experience in U.S. is required  Other skills demanded:  - Ability to build effective relationships   - Excellent English communication skills both spoken and written  - Strong project management experience, specific to panels, and the ability to handle multiple activities across a host of brands and constituencies simultaneously  - Experience with a broad range of primary research approaches  - Knowledge of media research, whether content or publishing related, approaches a plus  - This director should have 8-10 years of primary research experience, with the majority of that related to consumer research panels and databases.   - Four-year degree required.   - Advanced degree preferred
