This is a full time permanent role with our client which is a global conglomerate.
Job purpose :
To head the Product development vertical for secured & unsecured lending products.
Role :
- Product strategy: Create the product strategy and value proposition behind the company's vision to build India's preferred lending organization, starting with secured lending, SME & unsecured lending with a core focus on digital first.
- Product roadmap: Define and deliver the roadmap based on business priorities
- Product development: Analyze/Define and document business requirements, scope product features, coordinate and oversee the development, implementation, delivery, and testing
- Digitalization of Product: Create the digital product journey from a business perspective
- Business analytics: Monitor relevant business and product metrics, identify optimization potential, regularly provide updates to stakeholders on business performance
- Research and market intelligence: Understand customer needs, conduct surveys, closely monitor peers / competitors and identify opportunities
- Go-to-market: Oversee internal product trainings, organize product onboardings
- Team: Build and develop a high-performing team of motivated talent. Collaborate closely with Business teams on ground, Technology, Credit & Operations, HR and finance across all stages of the product lifecycle
Reporting to : Chief Business Officer
Qualification & experience :
- MBA / CA or any Post Graduate.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in digital product management, product strategy and product delivery with increasing responsibilities and success in leadership roles and a track-record of successful deliveries
- Prior experience in the BFSI,NBFC or Fintech domain is a must, previous exposure to the "Secured Digitalization" space a plus
Essential skills:
- Essential to have a good understanding of loan product workings, loan system workings and calculations
- Has developed and launched Home Loan Product, Subvention schemes etc. in the past
- Be comfortable in a startup-environment: work hands-on on day-to-day problem solving, taking quick and effective actions to meet short-term priorities. On the other hand, be comfortable with longer-term strategic thinking / planning
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills to drive thought process with internal & external clientele
Travel - Minimal to no travel required
