Position to be hired for Business Development Manager
Location: BKC, Mumbai
Who are we looking for?
- We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, and driven individual to join the Founder's Office at Treelife.
- This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in finance, law, or engineering, coupled with a passion for the startup ecosystem.
- As an Associate in the Founder's Office, you will work closely with our founders on strategic initiatives, supporting the growth and success of both our firm and our clients.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Strategic Support: Collaborate directly with the founders to provide insights and support on high-impact financial and legal advisory projects.
- Project Management: Lead and manage special projects from a process-driven perspective, ensuring each phase-from ideation to execution-is carried out systematically and efficiently.
- Process Development: Design and develop new processes that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, aligning with Treelife's strategic goals.
- Implementation and Execution: Take ownership of process implementation, ensuring seamless integration of processes into daily operations and execution with precision.
- Business Analysis: Assist in analyzing business performance, identifying opportunities for service enhancement, and proposing innovative solutions.
- Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within the startup ecosystem to inform strategic decisions.
- Client Collaboration: Work with startups and emerging businesses, helping them navigate financial and legal challenges, and ensuring their compliance and growth.
- Ecosystem Networking: Build and maintain relationships within the startup ecosystem, including clients, partners, investors, and mentors.
- Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Take on various responsibilities as needed to support the founders and the broader Treelife team.
Key qualifications for the role?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Law, or Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role preferably with start-up exposure.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, legal principles, or relevant technical expertise.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide sound advice.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial or legal concepts to clients.
- Experience in developing and managing corporate alliances and strategic partnerships is a strong plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.
