Job Title : Treasury Manager
Department : Finance
Reports to : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cash Management:
- Monitor daily cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Optimize cash management processes to minimize idle cash and maximize returns.
2. Liquidity Planning:
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term liquidity plans.
- Analyze cash flow forecasts and implement strategies to address potential shortfalls or surpluses.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely cash flow forecasting.
3. Funding and Capital Management:
- Manage the company's borrowing and investment activities.
- Maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure funding at favorable terms.
- Manage the documentation with banks required for operationalising the credit facilities
4. Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Treasury Operations:
- Manage the regular operations for Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, fund-based limits, etc.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of treasury activities to senior management.
- Prepare and present treasury reports to senior management and the board of directors.
1. Educational Background:
- MBA or Master's in Finance or Economics.
- CA certification is a must.
2. Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PPT.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
3. Work Experience:
- At least 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience in managing working capital limits of term loans
4. Key Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and manage disputes effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
