Treasury Manager - CA - FMCG

Client – A major beverage company in Nigeria

JOB TITLE & COMPANY - Manager- Treasury

LOCATION - Lagos - Nigeria

RESPONSIBILITIES :

CORE FUNCTIONS – Top 3

Preparation of financial documents as per requirements of banks

Issue outward BG, custodian of inward BG and verification of documents related to BG

Efficiently utilization of surplus funds and liaison with banks

CORE FUNCTIONS – Others

- Knowledge of banking regulation for foreign remittance

- Knowledge of accounting of foreign exchange gain or loss

- Inter-company payment settlement

- Efficiently handle Letter of Credit (LC) Documentation

- Monitor Bank Guarantees (BG)

- Monthly MIS Reporting

- Close Surveillance on payment process

- Coordinate and discuss with banks and its treasury team

- Monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilization of cash

- Understand existing bank limits; Obtain financial requirements of group companies; Extrapolate estimated cash flow trends; Decide fund adequacy / future fund requirements; Explore cost effective source of funds.

MUST HAVE :

- Must be a Chartered Accountant

- Must have minimum 10 – 12 years working experience in any FCMG Company with a minimum of 3 years experience in a bank or a large to medium corporate treasury.

- Overall knowledge of Tally system

- Working knowledge ERP, Forex Management, Working Capital Management and Budgeting is must.
