Treasury Expert - Contractual

Our client is looking for a treasury operations expert for a project. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of the treasury function, bridging the front and back office to ensure optimal financial management.

Your expertise in treasury systems and instruments will be key in driving efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-level management reporting and the development of treasury policies.

This is a 12-month (extendable) contractual role based onsite in Riyadh, KSA. (Immediate joiners)

What will you be doing:

- Support the day-to-day treasury middle office operation covering the deal validated and executed by the front office

- Prepare and evaluate treasury reports, which may encompass deal execution, monitoring, exception reporting, limit monitoring, scenario analysis, and stress testing

- Support the FO and other departments with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requirements

- Coordinate with the BO for settlement, reconciliation, and accounting functions

- Assist in the development and execution of treasury management strategies and policies

- Prepare reports to senior management regarding treasury activities and limit monitoring and exposures

- Understanding of treasury management systems and instruments to optimise processes and procedures and support the development and implementation of treasury management strategies and policies

- Capable of performing the user testing of the treasury systems covering the trade life cycle process, valuation, and r Report reconciliation

Your background:

- Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA, CTP) are a plus

- 3-5 years of experience in treasury, risk, or a related field, with a focus on treasury middle and front-office activities.

- Knowledge of treasury products - specific to derivative products, such as interest rate swaps, foreign exchange, and other derivatives.

- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (GCC) covering ISDA guidance

- Knowledge of treasury systems - Front Arena, Bloomberg, Reuters
