Job Description - Subject Matter Expert on Transport, IP Network & Services, Technology Evolution, Standardization & Optimization. Work with all OpCos and the Head Office team to ensure end-to-end network service delivery across internal and partner organizations. Ensure internal and external SLAs & KPIs are proactively managed and achieved.

Description

- Final Decision-Making authority, accountable to the Management

- Transport & IP Networks Operations Handling and support

- Review the operational procedures and recommend a change

- Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis; governance and OPCOs evaluation

- Makes a major contribution to a decision or network operational processes

- Cross functional co-ordination

- Proficiency in MS excel and power point

- Multivendor IP & Transport products knowledge.

- Micro level understanding of evolution of technology

- Ability to innovate and deliver value to business at multiple levels

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Profile

- Bachelor of Engineering degree (communication, electronics, or related fields)

- Sound knowledge of IP Network Planning, Optimization and O&M

- 8+ years of experience in Transmission operations in both Transport & IP and Networking domain

- 2+ years management experience in O&M/network Performance /Optimization

- Analytical thinker, metrics driven

- Ability to demonstrate organization and documentation skills

- Understanding of multiple technologies in Voice, data and Infra domains

- Experience on Operations & Maintenance of Microwave, Optical Fibre and IP domain for Access and Backbone networks(Multivendor transmission products knowledge)

- Ensure network resilience and redundant for all IP Infrastructure Network and Nodes, Transport Network in line with agreed Network availability KPIs

- Perform proactive monitoring of Key Performance Indicators related to IP Infrastructure (MPBN, IP MPLS infrastructure, POP routers, access IPRAN, Enterprise network, etc.) networks;

- Daily, weekly, Monthly analysis from Performance reports to maintain KPIs

- Knowledge of Segment routing, IP services and implementation strategy in Telco domain

- Provide technical centre of excellence for transport related issues & for IP Infrastructure related issues

- On the Job training to OpCo teams for uplifting their skill set
