The Manager - Strategic Operations (Transition Manager GSC) will play a critical role in managing capability transitions from global teams to India GSC, ensuring smooth integration & operational efficiency.

This position involves strategic planning, operational oversight, project management (PMO), consulting, and transition / change management.

Key Responsibilities:.

Transition Management:.

Develop and manage comprehensive transition plans for bringing talent demands from US counterparts to the India GSC.

Lead cross-functional teams to execute transition activities, ensuring smooth and effective change processes.

Apply change management methodologies to support the organization through transitions, minimizing disruption and enhancing acceptance.

Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and department heads, to ensure alignment and support for transition initiatives.

Strategic Operations Management:.

Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement strategic initiatives that align with the organization's long-term goals.

Develop and oversee operational strategies to ensure efficient execution and alignment with strategic priorities.

Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize overall operational performance.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.

PMO Management:.

Establish and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO), defining standards, processes, and best practices for project management.

Manage the project portfolio, prioritizing projects based on strategic importance and resource availability.

Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal utilization and addressing any capacity constraints.

Monitor project performance, resolve issues, and manage risks to ensure successful outcomes.

Facilitate regular project reviews and reporting to senior leadership on project status, performance, and alignment with strategic goals.

Consulting and Advisory Services:.

Provide strategic consulting services to internal stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations to address operational challenges and leverage strategic opportunities.

Conduct detailed analyses of business processes and performance to identify improvement opportunities and inform decision-making.

Leverage best practices and lessons learned from previous projects and transitions to drive continuous improvement in consulting services.


Qualifications:.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

- 10-14 years of experience in strategic operations, project management, or management consulting, preferably in a GCC setup.

- Proven track record in managing large-scale transitions, leading strategic initiatives, and overseeing complex projects within a PMO framework.

- Understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) would be a plus.

- Expertise in Office Apps, advanced hands-on PMO tools, and automation/process improvement.
