Primary Responsibility
The role involves working in a global sourcing unit and managing transition on outsourced new business supporting LOB's across PAN Africa. The role will be instrumental in establishing an interface between our client business units and various functions of the organization with full transition support from discovery phase to actual transition delivery and into in life.
Role Responsibilities
Marketing and Pre-Sales Support
- Preparation of proposals in response to clients needs identified by Sales team
- Preparation of responses to RFI/RFQ/RFPs
- Coordinating and organizing Client visits to various Company locations
- Coordinating the offshore lead generation activities and marketing support
Business and Functional Consulting
- Consults with Business and Operations team of the Clients to understand their processes, application, input/output, and reporting and SLA requirements.
- Participate in diagnostics studies to identify onshore outsourcing opportunities and prepare the necessary business case or proposals
- Lead or participate in teams involved in process mapping, process redesign and/or process re-engineering
- Analyzes, defines, documents and maintains process and business specifications - such as presentation, information flow, for processes being outsourced to the Company
Transition Program Management
- Develop and maintain project plans to efficiently manage transition of programs (Voice and non-Voice) within the Company.
- Coordinate with affected groups to develop necessary plans(Resource, Solution Design and non IT implementation, Training Plan etc.) required for effective Program Transition
- Identify, Track and Close all issue and risks that may impact timely execution of Transition.
- Co-ordinate with other stakeholders within the Company for ensuring timely execution of Projects
Knowledge Management and Distribution
- Track and report best practices in the industry
- Track and report changes and advances in the industry from business and technology point of view

Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations, Sales & Business Development, Finance, Training & Quality
Primary External Interactions:Business Client
Minimum Qualification and Key Skills :
In-depth knowledge of
- Telecom and non-Telecom Domain Knowledge Desirable
- Experience in onshore process transition/management/training
- Client interfacing as part of current job responsibility
- Program/Project Management and Client Reporting
- Process Mapping/Design/Re-engineering
- Understanding of rostering and Scheduling
