The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Business Management or any other relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement & Logistic functions.
- Experience in Aviation sector would be an added advantage
- Negotiation & vendor management skills
- Comprehensive skills in IT and MS Office package
- Excellent Communication Skills
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Close liaison for coordinating aircraft repairs, warranty and ensuring that they are back in service within the specified Turnaround Time
- Close collaboration with the logistics executive repair agencies for quick in bound / out bound freight movement of rotable products between the firm and the repair agencies, as well as the preparation of essential documents
- Follow up with suppliers/repair agencies on outstanding repair/purchase orders.
- Source and create new potential suppliers/vendors for cost effective procurement
