Trans Maldivian - Financial Controller - CA

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Graduate degree preferably in Accountancy, Finance or Management from a top tier University

- Chartered Accountant with experience in Financial Reporting as per IFRS in a large corporate.

- Highly analytical mindset with problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

- Excellent command of MS Office applications

- Eight to Ten years of experience preferably

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Overall responsibility on financial control, payroll and monthly management reporting

- Preparation of Annual Operating Budget of the Company including financial statements

- Generation of Annual Financial Statements/reports for Audit purposes and financial audits and reviews preparations when required

- Administration of loan agreements and financial covenants

- Authorizing and reconciliation of Payments including taxes

- Preparation of ad-hoc financial statements as and when required

- Supervising the administrative function of finance department

- Continual improvement for cost reduction opportunities
