Training Manager - Sales Capability - Logistics
Function : Sales
Reporting to Head : Sales Capability/Product Pricing & International (SC/PP & I)
1. Purpose :
- Responsible for improving sales force effectiveness through the conduct of various functional training programs for sales teams
2. Key Responsibilities :
Operational :
- Support Head - SC & PP & I in identifying current and future functional training needs for sales teams in the region by working closely with the Regional Sales Teams.
- Analyze key sales metrics in the region to identify focus areas for improvement through sales capability building interventions
- Conduct various training programs for sales teams to boost their performance and increase sales force effectiveness; Also manage and implement an all year round training calendar for the team.
- Conduct various sales related induction programs for new joinees within the Function.
- Analyze training feedback and take appropriate action, as required
- Support Head - SC/PP & I in designing and developing structured functional training programs in conjunction with SME's / Product Heads
- Support Head - SC/PP & I in identifying external training and accreditation bodies capable of delivering required specialized sales training programs
Other Support To :
- Support the Head Emerging Markets/SME & Channels in delivery of sales training programmes for channel sales team.
- Support Head - Sectors to develop & deliver sales training programmes for Sales Team
3. Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators :
1. Adherence to budget : - % adherence to the national sales training budget
2. Drive Employee Capability Building for Sales :
- Conduct/ delivery of routine sales training programs as per plan
- Conduct of sales training/ capability building programmes for rollout/ launch of new products or new processes
- % coverage of sales employees covered under various sales training programs in the region
- % increase in sales force effectiveness (% revenues/FTE) in the region
- Training Feedback Scores
3. Ensure Performance Driven Culture - Adherence to Performance Management system timelines and guidelines
Job Specification :
Qualification : Graduate (any stream) + MBA (Marketing)
Experience : 8-10 years- of experience in similar role
Age : 30 40 years
