Training Lead

About The Role:

- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent & Development, this role will involve the delivery of operational training across company Services to ensure that colleagues operating in the Service

- Delivery teams are able to deliver compliant and accurate services to our customers.

- This role includes the delivery of new entrant training, facilitating refresher training and delivering interventions that support colleagues on their career pathway.

- An ideal candidate for this role will be someone with a strong operational payroll background, previous experience of delivering training and a passion for learning.

- This role will work closely with the operations team and HRBP for learning coverage & compliance.

Responsibilities:

Role Accountabilities and responsibilities:

- Delivery of training via various methods including classroom based, virtual or on a one-to-one basis, covering process, procedures, systems, HMRC, legislation and customer service training from novice to advanced levels.

- Delivery of Product training from novice to advanced levels, encompassing all service modules in payroll and HR administration.

- Support the development of Career Pathways including creating learning materials and timetables of learning and delivery.

- Work as part of the project teams as Knowledge SPOC for new business implementations and key projects to ensure our colleagues are knowledgeable and able to deliver the required levels of customer service.

- Co-ordinate the completion of online training courses and assessments and measure and report on the success of the training objectives.

- Source support to deliver solutions for wider training needs such as leadership, communication and common functional skill gaps.

- Provide training to ensure that the use of product Portal is fully optimised, mitigating manual processes and driving improvements in productivity.

- Support product upgrades and legislation changes.

- Work with the UK Services L&D team to support the production of training content materials to be delivered locally.

- Determine the most effective methods of training delivery in consideration of the business demands and available budgets.

- Track and report progress (dashboards) to key stakeholders; produce measurement scorecards and

forecast future training resource requirements.

- Create learning plans and update learning calendar.

- Stay up to date with payroll legislation, system and process updates ensuring all training is delivered in line with Zellis documented work instructions.

- Deliver training based on Learning Pathways and legislative training action plan.

- Undertake learning effectiveness analysis and learning gap analysis.

- Produce weekly updates on learning plan in people tracker with inputs for Business reviews.

- Excellent stakeholder management and teamwork skills.

- Strong presentation skills; confident presenting using PowerPoint and a whiteboard.

- Good facilitation skills, co-ordination with different teams across the business.

Essential Functional / Technical Skills:

- Extensive payroll knowledge

- Experience in HR payroll software and an operational experience in UK payroll.
