Trading Desk Analyst

- The Trading Desk oversees real-time trading and related operations across all strategies, liaising with risk managers, senior management, researchers, software developers, systems engineers, external counterparties and customers in order to keep the business running 24/7.

- They closely monitor real world events and their impact on markets and if necessary undertake the appropriate action to ensure the best outcome for company, our customers and counterparties

Technical Skills and Experience

- Ability to program in one or more analytical packages such as Matlab or R.

- Ability to write re-useable code in either Python or Java and SQL.

- Previous experience of electronic markets in FX, Equities or Futures beneficial.

- Previous experience working on a highly automated market making desk very beneficial.

- Prior experience

- Persons experienced in running an electronic trading desk trading, or production support from front office and algorithmic trading systems, should do well in this role

- Alternatively, business persons with a technical bent and strong market knowledge can also expect to do well.
